When powered on, all USB-C and USB-A ports will still be functional when the dock is connected to a power source (without the dock connected to your host device) 

For display, the dock must be connected to your host device, with DisplayLink Software installed. 

A direct HDMI or Display Connection is required - any additional video conversion cables or adapters will not be supported.
