Setup

Step 1 — Connect to your Mac Mini (2024+): Dock the hub onto the bottom of your Mac Mini.
Step 2 — Connect your devices: Plug your peripherals, drives, and cards into the appropriate ports.

SSD Installation

1. Remove enclosure cover.
2. (Optional) Remove plastic from both sides of thermal pad, align with screw holes and apply.
3. Insert SSD at a 30° angle.
4. Use screw and screwdriver to keep SSD secure.
5. Re-install enclosure cover.

Note: If using a brand new SSD, format the drive to support your host device's operating system. Compatible with M.2 NVMe SSD drives only.

Power Button Accessibility

A dedicated cutout on the hub gives you direct fingertip access to the Mac Mini's power button, so you can power the computer on or off without lifting or adjusting it.

Important Notes

The USB ports are not designed for charging, only for device syncing, data transfer, and USB peripherals.

Upon initial installation, please ensure your SSD is properly formatted to your host device's operating system.

Not compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive or other CD readers.

It is recommended for keyboards, mice, and other low data transfer peripherals to be connected to the USB 2.0 port.

Please eject the SSD from your host device prior to disconnecting the USB-C cable. Failure to do so can result in lost or corrupted files.

When using an SSD, do not connect more than one high-powered peripheral or external storage device to the hub due to power requirements. Doing so may cause the SSD or other connected peripherals to unmount.
