Can I connect an external hard drive to my iPads using the HUB?

Some hard drives that are BUS-powered require low wattage and may be compatible. Other external hard drives often require an external power source when used with iPads. If the external hard drive’s wattage requirement is higher than 5V-0.7A (3.5W), it may not be detected by the USB-A port.
