Product Overview

The Aluminum Type-C Pro Hub Adapter plugs into the dual USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports on a MacBook Pro (2016-2021) or MacBook Air (2018 and later) and sits flush against the side, adding Thunderbolt 3 pass-through, 4K HDMI, two USB-A ports, a USB-C data port, and SD and Micro SD card readers.

Setup

The Aluminum Type-C Pro Hub Adapter is plug-and-play, no drivers required.

1. Connect to a laptop: Plug the Dual USB-C Connectors into your MacBook's USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports. The hub is designed to sit flush against the side of your MacBook.

2. Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the hub's ports.

1. Dual USB-C Connectors: The two USB-C connectors that attach the hub to your MacBook's USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports.
2. 4K@30Hz HDMI Video Port: HDMI video output supporting up to 4K at 30Hz.
3. LED Indicator: Lights up when the hub is connected and powered.
4. Thunderbolt 3 Port: Pass-through port for charging your MacBook (up to 60W) or connecting a Thunderbolt display.
5. 2x USB Type-A Data Ports: Two USB 3.0 ports for flash drives, external hard drives, mice, or keyboards.
6. USB-C Data Port: USB-C data transfer port. Does not support charging or video output.
7. SD & Micro SD Card Slots: Memory card readers for photo and video transfer.

Important Limitations

USB Type-C Data Port will not support charging or video output.

Do not connect more than one external hard drive at a time.
