Quick Start Guide ; USB4 Multiport Adapter with 8K HDMI
Step 1: Unbox
Remove the USB4 Multiport Adapter with 8K HDMI and any included accessories from the packaging.
Step 2: Connect to Your Device
Plug the USB-C connector into your MacBook, iPad, or other USB-C device. The hub is immediately recognized ; no drivers required.
Step 3: Connect Peripherals
Connect your peripherals to the hub's ports: monitors (via HDMI/DisplayPort), USB drives, SD cards, Ethernet cable, etc. Devices are detected automatically.
Step 4: Pass-Through Charging (if supported)
If the hub includes a USB-C PD pass-through port, connect your charger to this port to charge your laptop while using the hub.
Tips
- For external monitors, you may need to go to System Settings > Displays to configure arrangement.
- SD/microSD cards are detected automatically in Finder.
- Bus-powered ; no external power adapter needed (unless using PD pass-through).
- If a port isn't working, try disconnecting and reconnecting the hub.
