Can I use the Qi wireless charger with Android phones?
Yes. The wireless charging pad is compatible with any Android device that supports Qi wireless technology.
How does the Dock5 distribute power across all five ports when in use?
When all ports are active, power is distributed as follows:
- Two USB-C ports: up to 20W each
- Two USB-A ports: up to 12W each
- Qi wireless charging pad: up to 10W for Android devices and 7.5W for iPhone
Is the wireless charging pad compatible with MagSafe technology?
The wireless charging pad supports Qi wireless charging, including MagSafe-enabled iPhones. However, the Dock5 does not feature magnetic alignment or full 15W MagSafe charging. Instead, it provides up to 10W Qi charging for Android devices and 7.5W for iPhones.
What does the blinking green LED indicator mean?
A blinking green light indicates that a foreign object has been detected. This may occur if your device is misaligned on the charging pad or if a non-wireless charging device is placed on the Qi section.
We recommend repositioning your device or wiping the charging area with a clean, damp cloth to remove any debris.
What is the width between the dividers?
Each device slot measures 2.4 cm (0.95 inches) in width.
How long is the included power cable?
The Dock5 comes with a power cable that measures 48 inches in length.
Will the Qi charger work with a phone case?
Yes. The Qi charging pad will work with most smartphone cases, except those made of metal or with magnetic clips.
Is the Dock5 made of aluminum?
No. The charging station is constructed from durable materials finished to resemble brushed aluminum.
Are charging cables included?
No, charging cables are sold separately. For best results, we recommend our Flexible Charging Cables, which pair perfectly with the Dock5.
Can I charge other wireless earbuds besides AirPods?
Yes. In addition to AirPods, the Dock5 supports charging any true wireless earbuds with Qi-compatible charging cases, such as Galaxy Buds or Google Pixel Buds.
Can I wirelessly charge my smartphone on the AirPods charging area?
Yes. The Qi charging section can also charge most Qi-enabled smartphones at up to 10W.
Will this charge my Apple Watch wirelessly?
No. The Dock5 does not support Apple Watch wireless charging, as the Apple Watch requires its own magnetic charging base. However, you can connect your Apple Watch charger to either a USB-A or USB-C port on the Dock5, depending on your cable type.
