Product Overview
Keeps five devices charged in one place instead of spread across a desk. Four soft silicone dividers hold phones and tablets upright, two USB-C Power Delivery ports and two USB-A ports charge four of them by cable, and the wireless pad on the front charges a fifth with no cable at all. The station runs on mains power through its own cable, so no computer is involved.
Setup
The Dock5 Multi-Device Charging Station is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required. Charging cables for your devices are sold separately.
- Connect the power cable: Plug the included power cable into the 2-pin power connector on the station, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
- Connect USB-C devices: Plug USB-C phones or tablets into the two USB-C PD ports, up to 20W each.
- Connect USB-A devices: Plug USB-A devices into the two USB-A ports, up to 12W each.
- Charge wirelessly: Place one Qi enabled device on the wireless charging pad, up to 10W. The wireless charging indicator lights up while it charges.
- Remove devices when charged: Take devices off the station once they are fully charged.
Note: Charging cables are sold separately, and Satechi recommends certified charging cables.
Ports and Features
Parts labeled diagram of the Dock5 Multi-Device Charging Station with Wireless Charging with 8 labeled components.
1. 2-Pin Power Connector: The figure-8 style two-pin AC inlet where the included power cable plugs into the station. This is the station's only power input, so every port is powered from the wall rather than from a connected computer.
2. Power Cable (included): The AC power cable that runs from the 2-pin power connector to your wall outlet. This is the only cable in the box; charging cables for your devices are not included.
3. Soft Silicone Dividers: Four soft silicone dividers that hold phones and tablets upright and keep them separated in the station.
4. Magnetic Wireless Charger (Max. 10W): The wireless charging pad on the top front of the station. It charges one Qi enabled device at up to 10W. Center the device on the pad, and take off cases thicker than 3 mm or cases with a metal plate or magnets, because they stop wireless charging from working.
5. Wireless Charging Indicator: The LED on the front of the station. Blue means it is charging a device wirelessly, green means fully charged, and flashing teal means a foreign object is sitting on the pad.
6. Non-Slip Padding: The padding on the underside of the station that keeps it from sliding across a desk.
7. 2x USB-A Ports (Max.12W each): Two USB-A charging ports, up to 12W each. Cables are not included.
8. 2x USB-C Ports (PD 20W each): Two USB-C Power Delivery charging ports, up to 20W each. Sized for phones and tablets rather than for laptops. Cables are not included.

- 2x USB-A at up to 12W each
- Wireless charging pad at up to 10W

Important Limitations
Keep your charging station away from moisture and corrosive materials.
Do not place any metallic objects onto the wireless charger. A metal object on the pad triggers foreign object detection, so the indicator flashes teal and nothing charges.
When the charging station is connected to power, LED light changes from blue to green to teal, then it will turn off unless a device is attached to the wireless charger. That start-up sequence is normal. An LED that is off with nothing on the wireless pad does not mean the station has lost power.
Lightning charging cables and USB-C charging cables are not included. The box ships with the AC power cable only, so bring your own cables for the USB-A and USB-C ports.
Thick cases and metal plates block wireless charging. Cases thicker than 3 mm, and cases with a metal plate or magnets, can stop the pad from charging. Take the case off and center the device on the pad.
