Why isn’t my 5K UltraFine LG Display not working when I plug it into the USB-C port?

We can confirm that regarding the Mac Mini Stand & Hub with SSD, the Type-C port was designed specifically for data transfer and will not support power delivery or video output. We highly recommend directly connecting your display to one of the Thunderbolt ports behind your Mac Mini.
