This User Manual covers setup, features, compatibility, and specifications for the Satechi 200W USB-C 6-Port PD GaN Charger (ST-C200GM-US).
What's In The Box
200W USB-C 6-Port PD GaN Charger, C5 power cord, Desktop Stand, User Manual. (Charging cables sold separately.)
Product Overview
This charger replaces the pile of adapters on your desk: six USB-C Power Delivery ports share up to 200W, so a MacBook Pro, an iPad, a phone, a watch, and earbuds can all charge from one outlet. Gallium nitride internals keep it small enough to travel with, it sits flat on rubber feet or upright in the included Desktop Stand, and the two top ports deliver up to 140W each for high-draw laptops. Charging cables are not included.
Setup
The charger is plug and play: no drivers or software required.
- Connect the charger to a power outlet: Connect the included C5 power cord to the C5 power port on the charger, then plug the cord into a wall outlet. The LED indicator illuminates white when the charger is receiving power.
- Connect your devices: Plug charging cables (sold separately) into the USB-C PD ports and connect your devices. Charging begins automatically.
Note: The charger can be laid flat horizontally on its rubber feet or stood vertically using the included Desktop Stand.
Functions
Parts labeled diagram of the 200W USB-C 6-Port PD GaN Charger with 5 labeled components.
1. LED Indicator: The small light above PD1. Illuminates white when the charger is receiving power.
2. 6x USB-C PD Charging Ports: Six USB-C Power Delivery ports labeled PD1 through PD6 on the face of the charger. PD1 and PD2 are USB-C PD 3.1 and reach 140W max on their own; PD3 and PD4 are PD 3.0 at 100W max; PD5 and PD6 are PD 3.0 at 20W max. The 200W total is shared, so the wattage each port delivers depends on how many are in use (see the Power Schematic below).
3. C5 Power Port: The three-pin C5 inlet on the rear of the charger where the power cord connects. It is the only power input; the USB-C ports are outputs.
4. C5 Power Cord (included): The detachable power cord that connects the C5 power port to a wall outlet.
5. Desktop Stand: The included stand that holds the charger upright on a desk. The charger can also lie flat on its rubber feet.
Features
- Six USB-C Power Delivery ports sharing up to 200W total from one outlet.
- Two USB-C PD 3.1 ports at up to 140W each, two PD 3.0 ports at up to 100W each, and two PD 3.0 ports at up to 20W each.
- GaN internals keep the charger compact enough to travel with.
- Lays flat on rubber feet or stands upright in the included Desktop Stand.
- LED indicator confirms the charger is receiving power.
- Detachable C5 power cord included; charging cables sold separately.
Important Limitations
Only PD1 and PD2 reach 140W: Only the PD1 and PD2 ports will reach 140W charging rates with supporting host devices. Only one device can be connected at a time to either port in order to achieve 140W charging.
Connect your largest device to PD1: When connecting devices to all six charging ports, connect your largest device to the PD1 port.
Emark cables above 60W: Emark cables are required to reach wattage over 60W.
Keep away from liquids: Keep away from water, liquid, and moisture.
Power is shared, not per-port: The 200W total is divided across every port in use, so adding a device reduces what the others receive. See the Power Schematic below for the exact allocation.
Charging cables not included: Charging cables are sold separately.
Specifications
Model: ST-C200GM-US
Input: 100 to 240V, 50/60Hz, 2.5A max
Total Output: Up to 200W shared
Power Cord: C5 connector, detachable, included
Ports & Speeds:
1x PD1 (PD 3.1): up to 140W max
1x PD2 (PD 3.1): up to 140W max
1x PD3 (PD 3.0): up to 100W max
1x PD4 (PD 3.0): up to 100W max
1x PD5 (PD 3.0): up to 20W max
1x PD6 (PD 3.0): up to 20W max
Power Schematic: Output per port depends on how many ports are in use.
Single port: PD1 140W, PD2 140W, PD3 100W, PD4 100W, PD5 20W, PD6 20W.
Two ports: PD1 or PD2 paired with PD5 or PD6 gives 140W + 20W. Any two of PD1, PD2, PD3 and PD4 give 100W + 100W. PD3 or PD4 paired with PD5 or PD6 gives 100W + 20W. PD5 + PD6 gives 20W + 20W.
Three ports: 100W + 45W + 45W when the third port is PD1 through PD4, or 100W + 45W + 20W when PD5 or PD6 is involved. PD3, PD4, PD5 and PD6 combinations give 100W + 20W + 20W.
Four ports: 100W + 45W + 20W + 20W.
Five ports: 65W + 65W + 20W + 20W + 20W.
All six ports: 65W + 45W + 20W + 20W + 20W + 20W.
