Parts Reference
The cable’s components are numbered below to match the diagram.
Parts labeled diagram of the 8K Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cable with 3 labeled components.
1. HDMI Video Input/Output (Up to 8K/60Hz) — HDMI 2.1 connector at the device end of the cable. Plug this into the HDMI 2.1 port on your computer, game console, or media device.
2. Durable Braided Cable — The nylon-braided cable body, designed for durability and flexibility.
3. HDMI Video Input/Output (Up to 8K/60Hz) — HDMI 2.1 connector at the display end of the cable. Plug this into the HDMI 2.1 port on your external monitor or TV.
Setup
Step 1: Connect one HDMI end (Port 1) to the HDMI 2.1 port on your device (computer, game console, or media player).
Step 2: Connect the other HDMI end (Port 3) to the HDMI port on your external monitor or TV.
Step 3: On your display, switch the input to HDMI and begin streaming or using your device.
Important Notes
8K resolution requires HDMI 2.1 hardware on both ends: To achieve 8K resolution, your host device must have an HDMI 2.1 port and an 8K-capable GPU. The external monitor must also support 8K resolution. Connecting to devices without HDMI 2.1 will result in lower output resolutions.
Mac devices are limited to 4K/60Hz: Due to macOS limitations, Mac computers are limited to 4K/60Hz output via this cable, regardless of display capability.
HDMI 2.1 cable required for 8K and high-refresh 4K: This cable is required for resolutions above 4K/60Hz (such as 4K/120Hz or 8K/60Hz). Standard HDMI 2.0 cables cannot carry these signals.
Safety Instructions
Warning: Fire, electric shock, or damage could occur if the following instructions are not obeyed.
1. Do not bend, kink, or pinch the cable sharply.
2. Keep away from liquids and moisture.
3. Do not use if the cable or connectors are damaged.
4. Do not force connectors into ports — ensure correct alignment before inserting.
