Parts Reference
1. Premium Braided Cable (1.5 m) — The 1.5-meter (59.05 in) premium braided USB-C cable that forms the lanyard. Supports up to 60W power delivery and 480 Mbps data transfer. The cable doubles as a wearable lanyard to keep your phone accessible.
2. Adjustable Straps — The adjustable neck strap sections of the lanyard. Adjust the straps to set your preferred wear length and comfort level.
3. USB-C Connectors (60W / 480Mbps) — The USB-C connectors at both ends of the cable. Connect to your phone's USB-C port and to a USB-C power adapter or peripheral. Supports up to 60W PD charging and 480 Mbps data transfer. Video output is not supported.
4. Protective Caps — Soft caps that cover and protect the USB-C connectors when the cable is being worn as a lanyard and the connectors are not in use.
5. Connector Cards — Flat card-shaped tabs included in the box. These tabs are inserted between your phone and phone case to create a secure attachment point, allowing the cable to hold your phone on the lanyard.
Setup
Attaching the lanyard to your phone:
Step 1: Remove your phone from its case.
Step 2: Insert a Connector Card (Port 5) inside the phone case, making sure the safety loop on the card sticks out through the charging port opening at the bottom of the case.
Step 3: Place your phone back into the case, securing the Connector Card tab in place between the phone and case.
Step 4: Attach the carabiner end of the lanyard cable to the metal loop on the Connector Card sticking out through the charging port.
Step 5: Adjust the straps (Port 2) to your preferred wear length for a comfortable fit.
Using the USB-C cable for charging or data transfer:
Remove the Protective Caps (Port 4) from the USB-C connectors (Port 3). Connect one USB-C end to your phone's USB-C port and the other end to a USB-C power adapter (up to 60W) or USB-C peripheral. Replace the caps when not in use.
Important Notes
A full-coverage phone case is required: The Connector Card (Port 5) must be secured between your phone and its case for the lanyard to safely hold your phone. The case must be a full-coverage (closed-bottom) style. The cable is not designed to support the phone's weight without the Connector Card properly installed.
Video output is not supported: This cable supports charging (up to 60W) and data transfer (up to 480 Mbps) only. It does not support video output to external displays.
Compatible with most full-coverage phone cases: The Connector Card tab fits most closed-bottom, full-coverage cases. Very thick or rigid cases may not accommodate the tab properly.
Data transfer is USB 2.0 speed: While this cable supports USB-C connectivity, data transfer speeds are limited to 480 Mbps (USB 2.0). For faster data transfers, use a USB4 or Thunderbolt cable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with any phone case?
The lanyard requires a full-coverage (closed-bottom) phone case to secure the Connector Card. Most standard silicone and hard-shell full-coverage cases are compatible. Very slim, open-bottom, or MagSafe-only cases may not work.
Can I charge my phone while wearing it as a lanyard?
Yes. Remove the Protective Caps and connect the USB-C end to your phone's port. You can charge at up to 60W while wearing the lanyard.
Does this support video output?
No. This cable does not support video output. It is for charging and data transfer only.
What's the maximum charging wattage?
The cable supports up to 60W USB Power Delivery. Both the power adapter and the device must also support 60W PD to achieve maximum charging speed.
Is this compatible with iPhone?
Yes, for iPhone 15 and later which have USB-C ports. For earlier iPhones with Lightning ports, this cable is not directly compatible — a Lightning to USB-C adapter would be needed for charging, though the lanyard pendant functionality would still work via the Connector Card.
Safety Instructions
Warning: Fire, electric shock, or damage could occur if the following instructions are not obeyed.
1. Ensure the Connector Card is properly installed before relying on the lanyard to support your phone's weight.
2. Do not use if the cable or connectors are damaged.
3. Keep away from liquids and moisture.
4. Do not force connectors into ports — ensure correct alignment before inserting.
5. Do not use with cases that do not fully cover the bottom of the phone.
