1. HDMI Connector — Full-size HDMI connector at the display end of the adapter. Connect to the HDMI port on your external monitor, TV, or projector. Supports video output up to 4K/60Hz.
2. LED Indicator — Illuminates when the adapter is connected and active, confirming a live display connection.
3. USB-C Connector — USB-C connector at the device end of the adapter. Plug into the USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your laptop or tablet. The host USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP Alt Mode).

Setup

The Aluminum Type-C to HDMI Adapter is plug-and-play — no drivers required on macOS or Windows.

Step 1: Connect the USB-C end (Port 3) to the USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your computer or tablet. Confirm your USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
Step 2: Connect the HDMI end (Port 1) to the HDMI port on your external monitor, TV, or projector.
Step 3: On your display, switch the input source to HDMI. The LED indicator (Port 2) will illuminate to confirm an active connection.

Important Notes

Host USB-C port must support DP Alt Mode: This adapter requires DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) on the host USB-C port. Most MacBooks, iPad Pros, and modern Windows laptops with USB-C or Thunderbolt ports support this. Check your device specifications to confirm before purchasing.

Maximum resolution is 4K/60Hz: This adapter supports video output up to 4K resolution at 60Hz. It does not support 8K output or high-refresh-rate modes beyond 60Hz at 4K.

Available in four colors: Choose between Silver (ST-TC4KHAS), Gold (ST-TC4KHAG), Space Gray (ST-TC4KHAM), and Rose Gold (ST-TC4KHAR) to match your device.
