Product Overview

The Satechi OnTheGo 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter is a compact, circular multiport hub built for on-the-go connectivity. It connects to your laptop or tablet through a built-in braided USB-C host cable and expands a single USB-C port into five: USB-C data, USB-C PD charging, USB-A data, an SD card reader, and HDMI video output. The cable wraps and locks into a groove on the underside of the adapter for tidy storage, and two included 3M adhesive rings let you mount the adapter to the back of a laptop or device for a fixed, always-connected setup. (Note: the magnetic base is for mounting/positioning only — it does not provide wireless charging.)

1. Braided USB-C Cable (Host) - Built-in cable that connects the adapter to your USB-C laptop, tablet, or phone.
2. USB-C Data Port - Data transfer up to 5Gbps.
3. USB-C PD Port - Pass-through charging, up to 60W max.
4. LED Indicator - Shows power status (see LED Indicators table below).
5. USB-A Data Port - Data transfer up to 5Gbps.
6. SD Card Reader - UHS-I, up to 104MB/s. Insert card with the pins facing down.
7. HDMI Port - Video output up to 4K/60Hz. Note: the USB-C ports on this adapter do not support video output — use the HDMI port for video.
8. 3M Adhesive Ring Mounting Point - Attach the included 3M adhesive ring here to mount the adapter to a device.

Important limitations

• The USB-C data port and the USB-C PD port do not support video output. Only the HDMI port supports video output.
• The OntheGo™ 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter is not compatible with the Apple USB SuperDrive, CD readers, or DVD drives.
• Insert SD cards with the pins facing down and the label facing up.
• The magnetic base does not provide wireless charging.
• Keep the OntheGo™ 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter away from water, liquids, and moisture.
• For best performance, connect the OntheGo™ 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter to a USB-C port on the host device that supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) or higher.
