The brightness keys (F1 and F2) on the Slim X3 Bluetooth Backlit Keyboard only adjust the brightness of a built-in computer display. They do not control the brightness of an external display, such as an LG UltraFine.

To adjust an external display, create a custom shortcut in your Mac settings: go to System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Displays.
