No. The Aluminum Type-C to HDMI Adapter works in one direction only: from a device's USB-C port, such as a MacBook or laptop, out to an HDMI display. It cannot go the other way, so it cannot connect a USB-C or Thunderbolt display like the Apple Studio Display to a laptop's HDMI port.
