The hub is designed exclusively for the Surface Pro 9. It is not compatible with other Surface models, such as the Surface Pro 8 or Surface Laptop Studio, and it does not work with MacBooks or other computers and tablets. The USB-C connector spacing is specific to the Surface Pro 9.
