If your Vegan-Leather FindAll Keychain (models ST-LKCFK, ST-LKCFW, and ST-LKCFR) is not showing up in the Find My app, it is almost always because the battery is drained, Bluetooth is off, or pairing did not finish. Charge the Keychain, check your iPhone or iPad, then pair it again using the steps below.
Steps to get your FindAll Keychain into Find My
- Power on the Keychain. Press the power button once, and you should hear a beep that confirms it is on. If you hear nothing, the battery is likely drained, so charge it first.
- Charge the Keychain. A drained battery is the most common reason it will not appear. Place the Keychain on a Qi, Qi2, or MagSafe wireless charger (a wireless charger is not included). The status light is orange while charging and turns green when the Keychain is fully charged.
- Check your iPhone or iPad. Make sure it is running iOS 14 or later (or iPadOS 14 or later), and that Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Location Services are all turned on.
- Pair the Keychain again. Open the Find My app, tap Items, tap Add Item, then tap Other Supported Item. When "Satechi FindAll Keychain" is detected, tap Connect. Keep the app open during pairing. The Keychain powers itself off if it is not paired within 10 minutes of being turned on, so start pairing right after you power it on.
- If the Keychain belonged to someone else before you, it may still be linked to their Apple Account. The previous owner needs to remove it from their Find My app under Items, then Remove Item. Apple's security blocks pairing to a new Apple Account until that is done.
- Factory reset the Keychain and pair it fresh. Quickly press the power button 4 times, then press and hold on the fourth press for at least 3 seconds until you hear a beep. Once the Keychain resets, repeat the pairing steps above.
