If your phone is not charging on the Satechi Duo Wireless Charger Power Stand (ST-UCDWPBSM), the Power Stand is usually either powered off, out of battery, or the phone is not lined up on the pad. The Duo Wireless Charger Power Stand runs on its own 10,000mAh battery and has to be switched on with the side button before it will charge anything wirelessly. Its LED colors tell you what is happening, so watch them as you work through the steps below in order.

Steps to try

1. Click the side button once to turn the Power Stand on. The battery LEDs light up for about 14 seconds and then turn off. Click the button again any time to see the battery level.
2. Check that battery level. If the LEDs show little or no charge, recharge the Power Stand through its USB-C port with the included cable. The white LEDs flash while it charges, and all four LEDs stay lit when it is full.
3. Center your phone on the main wireless pad, either standing in portrait or lying flat. A blue LED with a breathing effect confirms the phone has been detected and is charging.
4. Look for a flashing orange LED. That is the foreign object detection warning, and it means either the device does not support wireless charging or it is not lined up correctly on the pad.
5. Take anything else off the pad and out from between the phone and the pad, including cards, keys, coins, metal plates, magnets, and pop sockets. Use a thin case with no metal or magnets in it, or remove the case to test.
6. Wipe the charging surface with a clean, slightly damp cloth to clear dust or debris, then set the phone back down.
7. Press the side button again if the Power Stand has been idle. It shuts itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity or when it cannot detect a connected device.
8. Confirm your device supports Qi wireless charging. The Duo Wireless Charger Power Stand charges Qi phones and earbuds and does not charge the Apple Watch, and AirPods need a wireless charging case to charge on the smaller pad.
9. Charge only the phone for a few minutes with nothing else connected. Wireless output is up to 10W in total, about 7.5W on an iPhone, and it splits to roughly 5W per pad when both pads are in use, so speeds drop when several devices charge at once.
10. Plug a device into the USB-C port with a cable. If that device charges, the battery and the Power Stand are working and the issue is with the wireless pad or the phone on it.
