If your FindAll Luggage Tag is not showing up in the Apple Find My app, it is almost always because the FindAll Luggage Tag needs a charge, is not powered on, your iPhone is missing one of the Find My requirements, or the FindAll Luggage Tag is still registered to another Apple Account. The Vegan-Leather FindAll Luggage Tag (ST-LFALTK, ST-LFALTW, ST-LFALTR) pairs through Find My as an Other Supported Item, so all of those pieces need to be in place before it appears.

How to get your FindAll Luggage Tag to appear in Find My

1. Charge the FindAll Luggage Tag on a Qi, Qi2, or MagSafe wireless charger. A wireless charger is not included. Lay the FindAll Luggage Tag flat and centered on the pad so the charging coils line up. The status light is orange while charging and turns green when the FindAll Luggage Tag is fully charged.
2. Power the FindAll Luggage Tag on by pressing the power button once. A beep confirms the FindAll Luggage Tag is on.
3. Get your iPhone ready. The FindAll Luggage Tag works with iPhone 12 series or later on iOS 14.5 or later, and it requires Two-Factor Authentication on your Apple Account. Turn on Find My under Settings, your name, Find My, Find My iPhone. Turn on Bluetooth, make sure Wi-Fi or cellular is active, and turn on Location Services under Settings, Privacy and Security, Location Services.
4. Pair the FindAll Luggage Tag. Open the Find My app, tap Items, tap Add New Item, then tap Other Supported Item. When "Satechi FindAll Luggage Tag" is detected, tap Connect and follow the onscreen steps to name the FindAll Luggage Tag and register it to your Apple Account.
5. Stay in the Find My app for the whole pairing process. Leaving the app partway through is a common reason the FindAll Luggage Tag never finishes pairing.
6. Pair within 10 minutes of powering on. If the FindAll Luggage Tag is not paired within 10 minutes, it beeps and powers itself off. Press the power button again to wake it and continue pairing.
7. If the FindAll Luggage Tag is still not detected, perform a factory reset. Quick-press the power button 4 times, then long-press the power button a 5th time for at least 3 seconds. A confirmation beep means the reset is complete. Then repeat the pairing steps.
8. If the FindAll Luggage Tag was owned or paired by someone else, that person must remove it first. In their Find My app they open Items, select the FindAll Luggage Tag, tap Remove Item, then tap Remove. After removal, factory reset the FindAll Luggage Tag and pair it to your Apple Account. Apple's security protocols will not let the FindAll Luggage Tag be reassigned until the original owner removes it.
9. Keep the FindAll Luggage Tag within range while you test. The FindAll Luggage Tag has a connection range of about 10 to 20 meters (33 to 66 feet) indoors and 20 to 50 meters (66 to 164 feet) outdoors, and obstructions shorten that range.
