If your phone is not charging on the OntheGo Qi2 10K Magnetic Power Bank with Stand (ST-B10Q2SK, ST-B10Q2SW, ST-B10Q2SR), the usual causes are a power bank that needs charging itself, a phone that is not magnetically aligned, or the auto-shutoff kicking in. The OntheGo Power Bank (10K) charges one device wirelessly at a time at up to 15W, and it shuts off automatically after 35 seconds of inactivity or when no connected device is detected.
How to fix wireless charging on the OntheGo Qi2 10K Magnetic Power Bank
- Check the power bank's own charge by pressing the side button and looking at the LED battery indicators. Four LEDs mean it is fully charged.
- Recharge the power bank through its USB-C port using the included cable if the battery is low. White LEDs flash while it charges, and a wall charger of at least 20W is recommended. Allow up to 2 to 3 hours for a full charge.
- Turn the power bank on by pressing the side button once, or by attaching your phone. The LEDs light for 14 seconds and then turn off, which is normal.
- Place your phone on the magnetic wireless charging surface and let the magnets pull it into position, then check that your phone shows it is charging.
- If your phone has no built-in magnets, add a magnetic case or sticker. The power bank works with iPhones and Android phones that support Qi or Qi2 wireless charging, but some Android phones need a Qi2 or MagSafe compatible case or sticker to attach securely.
- Remove a thick case and try again so the phone sits flush against the charging surface.
- Charge one device wirelessly at a time. The OntheGo Power Bank (10K) supports wireless charging for one device only.
- Press the power button again after attaching your phone if nothing happens. The auto-shutoff activates after 35 seconds of inactivity or when no connected device is detected, and a very low draw device such as a pair of earbuds can trigger it.
- Try a different phone on the charging surface to see whether the problem follows the phone or stays with the power bank.
- Use the USB-C port with your own cable for faster charging. Wireless charging is limited to 15W, while the USB-C port provides up to 20W.
- Expect slower charging when you use both at once. Charging two devices at the same time, one wirelessly and one over USB-C, limits output to a maximum of 5W for each connection.
- Try a different USB-C cable if the power bank itself will not recharge.
