4. USB-C Connector
Product Overview
The USB-C Combo Hub for Desktop expands a single USB-C port into three USB-A data ports at up to 5 Gbps plus SD and Micro SD card readers, on an attached USB-C cable so the ports sit on your desk within easy reach instead of behind your laptop.

The USB-C Combo Hub for Desktop is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.
- Connect to a laptop or computer: Plug the hub's USB-C connector into the USB-C port on your laptop or computer.
- Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the hub's ports.
Ports and Features
Parts labeled diagram of the USB-C Combo Hub for Desktop with 4 labeled components.
1. Micro SD Card Slot (UHS-I): Card reader for Micro SD cards at UHS-I speeds. It cannot be used at the same time as the SD card slot.
2. SD Card Slot (UHS-I): Card reader for full size SD cards at UHS-I speeds. It cannot be used at the same time as the Micro SD card slot.
3. 3X USB-A Data Ports (5Gbps): Three USB-A ports for data transfer, up to 5 Gbps each. They are meant for data and accessories, not for charging phones or tablets.
4. USB-C Connector: The attached USB-C cable that connects the hub to your laptop or computer. It is the hub's only connection, and the hub does not charge the computer it plugs into.
Features
- Three USB-A data ports, up to 5 Gbps each
- SD and Micro SD card readers at UHS-I speeds
- Attached USB-C cable so the ports sit on your desk, not behind your laptop
- Works with both laptops and desktop computers
- Plug-and-play, no drivers or software required
Important Limitations
SD and Micro SD card slots cannot be used simultaneously. Use one card at a time. Inserting cards in both slots at once will not give you two working card readers.
This is a USB hub, not a standalone device charger. The USB-A ports are for data. Do not rely on them to charge phones, tablets or other power hungry devices.
2.4GHz wireless devices can be disrupted by USB 3.0 ports. Wireless keyboards, mice and dongles that run on 2.4GHz may drop out when plugged into or placed next to USB 3.0 devices and hubs. Connecting the 2.4GHz receiver to a USB 2.0 port on your computer instead is the recommended fix.
