This User Manual covers setup, features, compatibility, and specifications for the Satechi USB-C Hybrid Multiport Adapter (ST-UCHSEM / ST-UCHSEK).

Product Overview

The USB-C Hybrid Multiport Adapter connects to your laptop with its USB-C Connector and adds an HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz), 2x USB-A 3.1 Ports (10 Gbps), a USB-C PD Port (85W Max. Output), and an M.2 SATA SSD Card Enclosure.

Setup

The USB-C Hybrid Multiport Adapter is Plug & Play.

1. Connect to a laptop: Plug the adapter's USB-C Connector into your laptop.

2. Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the adapter's ports.

SSD Installation

1. Insert your SATA M.2 drive into the M.2 SATA SSD Card Enclosure with THIS SIDE UP.
2. PRESS DOWN to secure the drive.
3. If using a new SSD, format the drive upon installation.

Note: Only compatible with SATA M.2 drive.

Important Limitations

USB-C charging port will not support data transfer or video output.

If using a new SSD, please ensure to format the drive upon installation.

The SSD enclosure is only compatible with a SATA M.2 drive.
