Product Overview
This adapter turns one USB-C port on your laptop or tablet into seven connections: 4K at 60Hz video over HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet for a wired network, two USB-A data ports, SD and Micro SD card slots that work at the same time, and a USB-C port that passes up to 60W of charging through to your machine.
Setup
The USB-C Slim Multi-Port with Ethernet Adapter is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.
- Connect to a laptop or tablet: Plug the adapter's USB-C connector into the USB-C port on your laptop or tablet.
- Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the adapter's ports.
Note: To keep your laptop charging while the adapter is in use, plug your own USB-C charging cable into the adapter's USB-C charging port. That port passes power through only, up to 60W.
Ports and Features
Parts labeled diagram of the USB-C Slim Multi-Port with Ethernet Adapter with 7 labeled components.
1. USB-C Connector: The attached USB-C cable and connector that plugs into the USB-C port on your laptop or tablet. This is the only connection the adapter needs.
2. Ethernet Port: Wired network connection at Gigabit speeds, up to 1 Gbps.
3. LED Indicators for Ethernet Connection: The two small LEDs beside the Ethernet port. They show link and activity status for the wired network connection.
4. SD & Micro SD Card Reader (UHS-I): SD and Micro SD card slots running at UHS-I speeds. Both slots can be used at the same time.
5. USB-C Charging Port (up to 60W): USB-C pass-through charging for your laptop or tablet, up to 60W. This port does not support data transfer or video output.
6. 2X USB-A Data Ports (5Gbps): Two USB-A 3.0 ports for data transfer, up to 5 Gbps, with a maximum output of 5V/1A per port. They do not support the Apple SuperDrive, and only one external hard drive should be connected at a time.
7. HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz): Video output to a single external display, up to 4K at 60Hz. It needs a direct HDMI to HDMI connection, not an adapter or converter chain.
Features
- 4K at 60Hz video output to one external display over HDMI

Important Limitations
USB-C charging port will not support data transfer or video output. It is a pass-through power port only, rated up to 60W. Use the HDMI port for video and the USB-A ports for data.
Do not connect more than one external hard drive at a time. Connect a single external hard drive to the USB-A ports. The Apple SuperDrive is not supported either.
The HDMI port needs a direct HDMI to HDMI connection. Adapters, converters and cable chains on the HDMI port are not supported.
