Product Overview

This adapter turns one USB-C port on your MacBook or other USB-C host into four connections: 4K at 60Hz video over HDMI for an external monitor, two USB-A 3.0 ports for drives, accessories or phone charging, and a USB-C port that passes up to 60W of charging through to your machine. All ports can be used at the same time.

Setup

The Slim Aluminum Type-C Multi-Port Adapter is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.

1. Connect to a USB-C host device: Plug the adapter's USB-C connector into the USB-C port on your host device, for example a MacBook.

2. Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the adapter's ports. All ports can be used at the same time.

Note: To keep your laptop charging while the adapter is in use, plug your laptop's own charger into the adapter's USB-C charging port. The LED indicator lights blue when the adapter is powered.

Ports and Features

1. USB-C Connector: The attached USB-C cable and connector that plugs into the USB-C port on your host device. This is the only connection the adapter needs.
2. HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz): Video output to an external monitor with an HDMI cable, up to 4K at 60Hz.
3. LED Indicator: Lights blue to confirm the adapter is powered.
4. 2X USB-A 3.0 Ports: Two USB-A 3.0 ports for hard drives, SSDs, flash drives and other USB accessories, and for charging a phone with its own cable. Output is 5V/1A per port. Do not exceed an input current of 900mA per connected device.
5. USB-C Charging Port (Up to 60W): USB-C pass-through charging for your host device, up to 60W. Connect your device's own charger here. This port does not support video output.

Important Limitations

USB-C Charging and Data Ports will not support video output. Video output is available only through the HDMI port.

Connected USB devices should not exceed an input current of 900mA. Each USB-A 3.0 port is rated for 5V/1A output. Higher-draw devices need their own power supply.

Do not connect more than one external hard drive at a time. Connect a single external hard drive to the USB-A ports.
