Product Overview

Clips onto keys, a bag or luggage and makes them findable. Once the keychain is paired to your Apple ID it appears as an item in the Apple Find My app on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, or in the Find Items app on Apple Watch, so you can follow step by step directions to it, trigger a chime to find it nearby, or get an alert when you walk away and leave it behind. Battery life runs up to 12 months on a single charge and it tops up on any MagSafe, Qi or Qi2 wireless charger.

Setup

Setup happens in Apple's Find My app on an iPhone. Power the keychain on first, then pair it.

1. Power on the keychain: Press the FindAll™ Keychain's power button once. You will hear a confirmation sound, indicating it is turned on.

2. Open Find My: Make sure your iPhone is set up, then open the Apple Find My app.
3. Add a new item: In the Items tab, tap Add New Item, then tap Other Supported Item. Your iPhone will search for your FindAll™ Keychain.
4. Connect: Once "Satechi FindAll™ Keychain" is detected, tap Connect.
5. Name it and register it: Follow the onscreen steps to name the keychain and register it to your Apple ID.
6. Confirm it paired: Check that your FindAll™ Keychain appears under Items. If it does not, remove the item, run a factory reset on the keychain, then connect again.

Note: Do not leave the Apple Find My app while pairing. If the keychain is not paired within 10 minutes you will hear a beep and it will power off automatically. Power it on again to carry on pairing.

Powering Off and Factory Reset

1. Power off: quick-press the power button 2 times, then long-press the 3rd time for at least 5 seconds. You will hear two beeps.
2. Factory reset: quick-press the power button 4 times, then long-press the 5th time for at least 3 seconds. You will hear a confirmation sound once the reset is complete.

Charging

1. Set the FindAll™ Keychain on a MagSafe, Qi or Qi2 wireless charger. A wireless charger is not included.
2. The LED shows orange while charging and green when it is fully charged.
3. Battery life runs up to 12 months on a single charge. Satechi recommends fully charging the keychain once every 8 months. Actual battery life may depend on how you use the device.

Ports and Features

1. LED Indicator: The status light on the front of the keychain. Orange means charging, green means fully charged.
2. On/Off Button: The power button on the front of the keychain. One press powers it on. Two quick presses plus a third press held for at least 5 seconds powers it off. Four quick presses plus a fifth press held for at least 3 seconds runs a factory reset.
3. Wireless Charging: The charging area on the back of the keychain. It charges on any MagSafe, Qi or Qi2 wireless charger, which is not included. The keychain has no magnets, so it will not snap onto a MagSafe pad and needs to be positioned by hand.

Important Limitations

Compatible with iOS, iPadOS and macOS after initial pairing with an iPhone or iPad. The first pairing has to be done on an iPhone or iPad. A Mac can view the keychain afterwards but cannot do that first pairing.

Compatible with Qi, Qi2 and MagSafe wireless chargers. A wireless charger is not included, so you will need a MagSafe, Qi or Qi2 pad to charge the keychain.

The FindAll™ Keychain does not have magnets, so it will not magnetize to wireless chargers. On a MagSafe charger it will not snap into place by itself. Set it on the pad and check that the LED comes on.

Connection range: 10-20m indoors, 20-50m outdoors. These ranges are for a direct connection between the keychain and your Apple device.

You cannot find or view the keychain's location while it is powered off. Power it back on before you try to locate it in the Find My app.

Do not leave the Apple Find My app while pairing. Switching away mid-pairing interrupts it. If pairing does not finish within 10 minutes the keychain beeps and powers itself off.
