Product Overview

The Aluminum Type-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter gives a laptop or tablet that only has USB-C a wired Gigabit network connection, so HD streaming, online gaming and large downloads do not have to depend on Wi-Fi. It is plug and play, with a slim brushed aluminum housing for on the go use.

Setup

The Aluminum Type-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is plug and play, no drivers or software required.

1. Connect to a laptop or tablet: Plug the adapter's USB-C connector into the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your laptop or tablet.

2. Connect your devices: Plug an Ethernet cable into the adapter's Ethernet port, then connect the other end to a LAN port on your modem or router.

Ports and Features

1. USB-C Connector: Plugs into the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your host device. This is also where the adapter draws its power, so no separate power supply is needed.
2. LED Indicator: Status light on the top of the adapter, next to the cable.
3. Ethernet Port (Up to 1 Gigabit): RJ-45 port for a wired network connection at up to 1 Gigabit. An Ethernet cable is not included.
4. Aluminum Construction: Brushed aluminum housing with a slim profile for portable, on the go use.

Important Limitations

We recommend customers use genuine cables when they are trying to sync.

The host device needs a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port.

An Ethernet cable is not included. You supply your own cable to reach your modem or router.
