If your Type-C Multimedia Adapter isn’t detected, try these steps:

• Make sure the USB-C connector is fully seated in your computer’s port.
• Try a different USB-C/Thunderbolt port on your computer.
• Check System Information > USB (Mac) or Device Manager (Windows) to see if the adapter appears.
• Unplug everything from the adapter and reconnect it on its own, then add one bus-powered device at a time.
• Test on a different computer to see whether the issue is the adapter or your computer.
