How to set up the Satechi USB-C Slim Type-C Multi-Port Adapter V2

1. Connect to a laptop or tablet: plug the adapter's USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) Connector into a USB-C port on your laptop or tablet, such as the Type-C port of your MacBook.

   

2. Connect your native MacBook charger to the USB-C Power Delivery (PD) Port to charge your MacBook. USB-C PD max output: 60W.

   

3. Connect an HDMI-enabled monitor to the adapter's High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port using a high speed HDMI cable. A direct HDMI to HDMI connection is required.

   

4. Connect USB devices to the USB-A (Universal Serial Bus Type-A) ports. Connect 1 hard drive at a time. The USB-A ports are not compatible with the Apple SuperDrive.

   

5. Insert micro SD or SD cards into the card reader slots.

   

6. All ports can be used simultaneously.

Important notes for the USB-C Slim Type-C Multi-Port Adapter V2

• USB-C charging port will not support data transfer or video output.
• Do not connect more than one external hard drive at a time.
• Connected Universal Serial Bus (USB) devices should not exceed an input current of 900mA.
• All ports can be used simultaneously.
• Operating temperature: 86°F to 122°F.
