This Quick Start Guide covers setup of the Satechi Pro Hub Slim (ST-HUCPHSM ST-HUCPHSS ST-HUCPHSD): a slim USB-C hub with a USB4 port for charging and video, 4K HDMI, USB-A and USB-C data ports, and a microSD/SD card reader.

Setup steps

Step 1: Connect the Hub into the Thunderbolt ports on your MacBook.

Step 2: Use the USB4 port to charge you device up to 100W, output video up to 6K/60Hz, or transfer data at up to 40Gbps.

Step 3: Use the HDMI port to output 4K video to an external monitor – up to 60Hz.

Step 4: Use the two USB-A data ports to connect USB devices (up to 10Gbps).

Does not support charging or CD readers, including Apple USB SuperDrive.

Step 5: Insert microSD or SD cards into the card reader slots.

Support SD/SDHC/SDXC, SD3.0 UHS-1, up to 104MB/S, capacity up to 2TB (Synchronous use).

Step 6: Use the USB-C data port for data transfer at up to 10Gbps speed.

Does not support charging, video output, or CD readers, including Apple SuperDrive.
