• MacBook Pro 15-inch (2016-2019)
• MacBook Air 15-inch (2023 and later, including M5)
• MacBook Air 13-inch (2018 and later, including M5)
• iMac (2017 and later)
• Mac mini (2018 and later)
• Mac Studio (all models, 2022 and later)
• Mac Pro (2023)

⚠️ Extended dual displays are not supported on M1/M2 base chipsets. Dual display is supported on M3 and later in Clamshell Mode.

Apple iPad (USB-C models only)

• iPad Pro (all USB-C models, 11-inch 1st generation and later)
• iPad Air (M1 and later, including M4)
• iPad Air (4th and 5th generation)
• iPad (10th generation and later)
• iPad mini (6th and 7th generation)

⚠️ Multi-display output is not supported on iPad. Stage Manager is available on compatible models.

Not Compatible

• MacBook Neo (A18 Pro) ; Equipped with USB-C but does not support Thunderbolt protocols. Thunderbolt features and multi-display output will not function correctly.
• iPads and iPhones with Lightning connectors
• Devices without USB-C or Thunderbolt
