Can I use the Clamp Hub Pro with another Apple computer (i.e. Mac mini, MacBook Pro)?
Although the mounting feature for the hub is specific to the iMac, the functions of the hub are compatible with other USB-C devices and can be used on other computers for any data transfer needs.
Do the Micro/SD card readers support the SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-ii card?
We can confirm that the Micro/SD card reader slots will identify UHS-ii cards but will operate at the UHS-i theoretical read and write speeds. These speeds are determined based on the class of the card itself.
Does the Clamp Hub cause any heating issues due to mounting and covering the vent openings on the bottom of the iMac?
We can confirm that there are no heating or ventilation issues when using the Clamp Hub mounted on your iMac. Although it does take up space within the openings, there is still enough for air to flow through the two openings that are being occupied by the hub.
Does the USB-C port supports charging iPads?

Will this work with Apple's new 27" Studio Display?
Unfortunately, this product wouldn't fit the Studio Display since it's designed for the iMac Pro and iMacs (2017-2019).
Will Clamp Hub Pro work with late 2015 iMac 5K Retina Display?
No, this product is only compatible with the 2017 iMac and iMac Pros because it requires Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports to connect to the adapter. Older iMacs may or may not have a Thunderbolt 2 output which isn’t the same as the latest Thunderbolt 3 port. If you happen to have an open USB-A port, a USB-C Female to USB-A Male adapter will allow you to connect the Clamp Hub Pro to a model of iMac previous to 2017. Please take a look at the photo below of to see the type of adapter we are talking about.
Does the Type-C port on the Clamp Hub Pro support video output?
No, this is a non-Thunderbolt 3 Type-C port that was specifically designed to handle data transfer only.
Is there a way to turn off the LED light on the Type-C Clamp Hub Pro?
The light cannot be turned off because it indicates that the power is being received by the Hub.
How does the Type-C Clamp Hub Pro clamp onto the iMac monitors? Does it block the vents?
The Type-C Clamp Hub Pro attaches itself to the bottom of the iMac's air vents with its adjustable clamps, which has an extremely minimal impact on its heat ventilation. This will not cause any overheating.
