How to set up the Satechi Aluminum Type-C Mobile Pro Hub Adapter

The Aluminum Type-C Mobile Pro Hub Adapter is plug and play: no extra drivers required.

1. Connect the hub's USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) Connector to the USB-C port on your 2018 iPad Pro or USB-C tablet/smartphone. If your tablet is in a case, remove the case so the hub can make a proper connection to the USB-C port.

   

2. Connect a USB-C charging cable to the hub's USB-C Charging Port (up to 60W) to charge your 2018 iPad Pro.

   

3. Connect an HDMI external display to the hub's High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) Video Port (4K@60Hz). The HDMI Video Port requires a direct HDMI to HDMI connection.

   

4. Use the Universal Serial Bus (USB) 3.0 Port to connect external keyboards or thumb drives for photographic media transfer (via the Digital Camera Images (DCIM) folder). The USB 3.0 Port only supports data transfer from a photographic device and is not compatible with Apple SuperDrive.

   

5. Use the 3.5mm headphone jack (Audio Jack Port) to connect wired headphones or a headset.

   

6. Connect your devices to the hub's ports. All ports can be used simultaneously.

Important notes for the Aluminum Type-C Mobile Pro Hub Adapter

• Hub may not be compatible with some tablet cases. Please remove case in order for hub to make proper connection to the USB-C port.
• We recommend customers use genuine cables when they are trying to sync.
• Operating temperature is 86-122°F.
