Can I sync an iPad by connecting it to the USB-C port on the side?
A: Unfortunately, the iPad Pro will not connect to the port for connecting, it is only for pass-through charging of the device being used by the adapter. If you wanted to sync your iPad Pro using the adapter to your MacBook or Mac Mini, you would need to connect it to the USB-A port on the adapter with a USB-C-to-USB-A cable or to directly connect your iPad to the computer.
