This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi M1 Wireless Mouse (ST-ABTCMS ST-ABTCMM ST-ABTCMG ST-ABTCMR ST-ABTCMB).

How to set up the Satechi M1 Wireless Mouse

1. Power ON your M1 Mouse with the Power Switch on the back of the mouse. Fully charging the mouse prior to initial pairing is recommended.

   

2. Put the mouse into pairing mode: hold the Pairing Button for 3-5 seconds or until you see the blue light-emitting diode (LED) light begin to flash.

   

3. Turn on Bluetooth on your computer. On macOS, launch System Preferences > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on. On Windows 11 & Windows 10, launch Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Add a device and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

   

4. Select "Satechi M1 Mouse" from the list of connectable devices and click "Connect" to finish the connection process. On Windows, click "Next" once the mouse has been selected from the list.

   

5. On macOS, the M1 Mouse will show a connected status when successfully paired. On Windows, a progress bar will appear during the pairing process and will disappear on its own once the pairing is complete.

M1 Wireless Mouse ports and controls

The mouse is equipped with 3 buttons and a scroll wheel.

• USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) Charging Port
• Left Button
• Right Button
• Scroll Wheel
• LED Indicator
• Power Switch: on the back of the mouse; turns the mouse on or off.
• Optical Sensor
• Pairing Button: hold to enter pairing mode.

M1 Wireless Mouse LED indicator meanings

• Blue LED: Pairing Mode, Charging Status.
• Red LED: Battery Low.
• Fully charged: the blue light turns off.

How to charge the M1 Wireless Mouse

• Charge the mouse through the USB-C Charging Port with the included USB-C charging cable.
• Up to 45 days of use between charges.
• The M1 Mouse can not be used in wired mode. The M1 Mouse will function while charging.

Important notes for the M1 Wireless Mouse

• The M1 Wireless Mouse does not support multi-device sync. The M1 Wireless Mouse can only be used with 1 host device at a time.
