Are the USB-A ports compatible with external storage devices?

Yes, the USB-A ports support external storage devices such as flash drives, external hard drives, and SD card readers. These ports are USB 3.0 compliant, providing fast data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps.

Does the stand rotate or tilt for different viewing angles?

No, it is not adjustable but when you dock the iPad, it will be setting up to 115 degrees angle.

Does the Stand Hub for iPad Pro work with Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra?

We can confirm that the Stand Hub for iPad Pro is also compatible with the Samsung Tab S8 Ultra.

Does the aux port support both audio input and output?

Yes, both audio input and output are supported through the 3.5mm headphone port of our stand. In-line media and volume control are also supported.

Will I be able to use all ports simultaneously?

Yes, you will be able to use the USB, USB-C (passthrough) HDMI, 3.5 Aux port, and card slots at the same time. Keep in mind, you will only be able to use 1 card slot at a time (SD or microSD).

Do all ports function even when the stand is closed?

Yes, we can confirm that you will still be able to utilize all ports on the stand even when the stand itself is closed, just as long as the cable is still connected to your device.

Will I be able to to use the USB-C port for my external hard drive?

We can confirm that the USB-C port on this stand will only support passthrough charging (@60W), therefore it will not support video, data transfer, or charging another peripheral. We recommend using the USB-A port on the hub stand (5V-0.7A) for data transfer and to use a compatible Type-C to Type-A data cable or adapter if necessary.

Can I charge my device while it is connected to the stand?

Yes, we can confirm you can charge your device using the USB-C port which supports up to 60W. We hope this information provides some clarification and guidance for you.

Will my iPad fit on this hub if it has a case on it?

We can confirm that your iPad should still fit on the hub with a case on as long as the case does not cause the iPad to be thicker than 15mm.

How wide is the gap that holds the device?

Will the USB-A port charge my Apple Watch?

The USB-A port is designed specifically for data transfer and was not meant to charge other devices. The port does output a low wattage of 2.5W to power connected devices and may be enough to charge your device at a very slow rate.

Why won’t my MacBook output video when docked on the hub and connected to the HDMI port?

If your computer is not outputting video through the HDMI port on the hub while the lid is closed, you most likely are not using the computer in Clamshell mode correctly. To use your computer in Clamshell mode, you need to ensure your computer is connected to power and you have a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse (or both) connected while the lid is closed.

Can I use this with a MacBook as a docking station or is this just for tablets?

Yes, the hub can also be used with a MacBook that contains a Thunderbolt 3 port (2016-2020). If your Apple MacBook only has two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the left side, you will need to rotate your laptop so that the ports are on the right side to allow the cable to reach one of these ports.

Does the HDMI port support 4K @ 60Hz?

Why can't I hear Audio on my Headphones when connected to the 3.5mm Audio Port of this Hub?

You will need to go to Control Center by swiping down from the right part of your iPhone or iPad Screen.

Then plug your 3.5mm headphones (or speakers) into the 3.5mm port of the hub or adapter and select "USB PnP Audio Device or General USB Audio Device". Please use the following images for reference: It should show up on the red box below.

The Aux port will support most 3.5mm Headphones, speakers or microphones.
