Product Overview

This stand holds your iPad Pro at a fixed viewing angle and turns its single USB-C port into six connections: 4K HDMI video output at 60Hz, a USB-A data port, USB-C Power Delivery charging up to 60W, a 3.5mm audio jack, and SD plus Micro SD card readers. The built-in USB-C cable means there is nothing to install, and the same ports work with other USB-C Macs, tablets and Windows laptops.

Setup

The Aluminum Stand & Hub for iPad Pro is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.

1. Connect to your iPad Pro: Use the built-in USB-C cable to connect the stand to the USB-C port on your iPad Pro or other USB-C device, then seat the iPad Pro on the stand.

2. Connect your devices: Connect your devices to the stand's ports.

Ports and Features

1. Built-In USB-C Connector: The built-in USB-C cable that connects the stand to your iPad Pro or other USB-C device.
2. HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz): HDMI output supporting up to 4K at 60Hz. It needs a direct HDMI to HDMI cable, not an adapter or converter chain.
3. USB-A Data Port: USB-A port for thumb drives and peripherals at up to 5 Gbps. It does not support charging or CD readers, including the Apple SuperDrive.
4. USB-C Charging Port (up to 60W): USB-C Power Delivery port for pass-through charging at up to 60W. It does not carry data or video, and the USB-C PD power adapter is not included.
5. Audio Jack Port: 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones or a microphone.
6. SD & Micro SD Card Slots: SD and Micro SD card readers that can be used at the same time.

Important Limitations

Connected USB devices should not exceed an input current of 5V/900mA. This is the ceiling for bus-powered devices on the USB-A port.

When connecting external storage devices, devices will appear under the "FILES" application on iPadOS. Open the Files app on your iPad Pro to browse the drive.

The USB-C charging port does not support video or data. It is a power-only port, and the USB-C PD power adapter is not included.

A direct HDMI to HDMI cable is required for video output. Adapters and converters in the HDMI path are not supported.

The USB-A port does not support charging or CD readers, including the Apple SuperDrive. It is a data-only port.
