Regulatory Compliance

This product has been designed, tested, and certified to meet international safety, environmental, and technical standards for consumer electronics.

Certifications and Standards

• FCC (Federal Communications Commission): This device is compliant with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
• CE (European Conformity): This product meets the requirements of the applicable EU directives including but not limited to Directive 2014/30/EU (EMC) and Directive 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive).
• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances): This product is compliant with Directive 2011/65/EU and is free from the following restricted substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers, except where exempted.
• WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment): This product complies with the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) and is marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol to indicate proper recycling procedures.
• UL/ETL Certification: This power adapter has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) or an equivalent Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) to UL 62368-1 standards for electrical safety.
• California Proposition 65: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

Safety Guidelines

Electrical Safety Precautions

• Use only with the power source indicated on the device label.
• Do not expose the power adapter to water, moisture, or rain. Do not use near water sources.
• Do not use this device during thunderstorms or electrical storms. Disconnect the device from the power outlet during such weather conditions.
• Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair the power adapter. No user-serviceable parts are inside.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the adapter or allow it to bend at sharp angles, which may damage the insulation and cause a fire or electric shock hazard.
• Use only approved replacement parts. Use of non-approved cables or adapters may result in fire, explosion, or electric shock.
• Keep the device in a well-ventilated area during operation. Do not cover the device or use it in an enclosed space.
• If the power cord or plug is damaged, discontinue use and contact Satechi support.
• In case of any burns or injuries from the device, seek medical attention immediately.

Environmental Information and Disposal

This product contains valuable materials and should be disposed of properly to protect the environment.

Proper Disposal

• Do not dispose of this product in regular household waste.
• This product is subject to the WEEE Directive. At the end of its useful life, this product must be collected and disposed of as electronic waste.
• In the European Union, take this product to a designated electronic waste collection point or an authorized distributor for recycling.
• In the United States, contact local waste management authorities for information on electronic waste disposal in your area.
• In other regions, please comply with local regulations regarding the disposal of electronic waste.

Recycling

This product is designed to be recyclable. Please help preserve our environment by recycling or returning this product to an authorized Satechi distributor or recycling facility when it reaches the end of its functional life.

Warranty and Support

This product is covered by Satechi's 2-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

• Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
• Failure to function under normal operating conditions

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage from misuse, abuse, or accidents
• Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from exposure to water, moisture, extreme temperatures, or environmental hazards
• Cosmetic damage
