This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard (ST-KOTGK ST-KOTGW).

How to set up the Satechi OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard

1. Before use, please fully charge the OntheGo™ Keyboard through the USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) Charging Port using its included cable.
2. Open the cover and use the adjustable kickstand to position your desired orientation.

   

3. To turn on the keyboard, press and hold the power button on the top right of the keyboard for 3 seconds. The Power / Charging light-emitting diode (LED) Indicator above the power button shows a blue light for 3 seconds, then turns off.

   

4. Short press fn + Q, W, or E to select a Bluetooth channel. Long press fn + Q/W/E for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The blue light flashes once per second while in pairing mode. You will be able to pair up to three devices.

   

5. Turn on Bluetooth and open the Bluetooth settings on your device.
6. Select "OnTheGo Keyboard" from the list of available devices, then click "Connect" to finish the connection process.

   

7. Once connected, the pairing indicator light will turn off.

How to switch devices on the OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard

• Short press fn + Q, W, or E to select a Bluetooth channel (1, 2, or 3).

  

• The corresponding channel light flashes once when switching between channels 1, 2 and 3.

How to charge and power off the OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard

• Connect the keyboard to a USB-C power source using the included USB-C to USB-C cable.

  

• Charge for about 2.5 hours for a full battery. The keyboard can be used while charging, and a full charge lasts up to 2 months.
• When the battery reaches 0%, the keyboard will automatically shut down.
• To turn it off, press and hold the power button on the top right of the keyboard for 3 seconds again. The red light above the power button stays on for 3 seconds, then turns off.

OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard LED indicator meanings

• Powering On: blue light stays on for 3 seconds, then turns off.
• Powering Off: red light stays on for 3 seconds, then turns off.
• While Charging: red light remains on.
• Fully Charged: blue light remains on.
• Low Battery Warning: when battery drops below 20%, the red light flashes twice per second.
• Switching Channels: the corresponding channel light flashes once when switching between channels 1, 2 and 3.
• Pairing Mode: the blue light flashes once per second while in pairing mode.

Important notes for the OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard

• After 30 minutes of inactivity, the keyboard will enter sleep mode to preserve battery. Press any key to wake it up, and the keyboard will automatically connect.

  

• If no device connects within 180 seconds of entering pairing mode, the keyboard enters sleep mode.
