Product Overview

The OntheGo™ Bluetooth Keyboard pairs with up to three devices and moves between them with a two-key shortcut, so one keyboard covers an iPad, a phone, and a Mac. The top row carries brightness, media, search, screenshot, and lock shortcuts mapped for iPadOS, Android, and macOS, and a full charge lasts up to two months.

Setup

1. Power the keyboard on: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The power light turns blue briefly, then turns off.
2. Select a Bluetooth channel: Short press Fn plus Q, W, or E to pick a channel. Hold Fn plus Q, W, or E for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The blue light flashes once per second while pairing.
3. Open Bluetooth on your device: Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
4. Select the keyboard: Choose OnTheGo Keyboard from the list of available devices.
5. Confirm the connection: The pairing indicator turns off once the keyboard is connected.

Note: The keyboard supports up to 3 devices at once on channels 1, 2, and 3. Repeat these steps on another channel for each additional device.

Charging the keyboard

1. Connect the keyboard to a USB-C power source using the included USB-C to USB-C cable.
2. Charge for about 2.5 hours for a full battery. The keyboard can be used while charging, and a full charge lasts up to 2 months.

Functions

1. Power / Charging LED Indicator: Shows power state and battery charge. Blue for 3 seconds when powering on, red for 3 seconds when powering off, red while charging, blue when fully charged, and flashing red twice per second when the battery drops below 20 percent.
2. Bluetooth LED Indicator: Shows Bluetooth channel and pairing status. The channel light flashes once when you switch between channels 1, 2, and 3. The blue light flashes once per second in pairing mode.
3. USB-C Charging Port: Connect a USB-C to USB-C cable here to charge the keyboard.
4. On/Off Switch: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power the keyboard on or off.
5. Function Keys: The top row. Hold the Fn key and press one of these to trigger the shortcut listed in the Function Key Guide below.
6. Bluetooth Device Key: Fn plus Q, W, or E selects a Bluetooth channel. Hold Fn plus Q, W, or E for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode on that channel.
7. Caps Lock LED Indicator: Lights up when Caps Lock is active.
8. Fn Key: Hold together with another key to reach the function shortcuts.

Important Limitations

The keyboard sleeps after 30 minutes of inactivity: Press any key to wake it. If no device connects within 180 seconds of entering pairing mode, it also returns to sleep.

The keyboard shuts down at 0 percent battery: When the battery reaches 0 percent the keyboard powers itself off. Charge for about 2.5 hours for a full battery.

Keep away from microwave radiation sources: Interference from nearby microwave sources can disrupt the Bluetooth connection.

Do not place heavy objects on the keyboard: Avoid dropping or bending it.

Keep away from oil, chemicals, and organic solvents: These can damage the keys and the housing.
