This Quick Start Guide covers setup of the Satechi 6-in-1 USB-C Slim Multiport Adapter (ST-P6SM ST-P6SS ST-P6SK): adds 4K HDMI, USB-C PD charging, USB-A ports, and a microSD/SD card reader over a single USB-C connection.

Setup steps

Step 1: Connect the adapter to a compatible host device. LED indicator should turn on once connected.

Step 2: Connect a USB-C charging cable to the adapter’s USB-C PD port (up to 100W; 15W used for operation). Does not support video output. Does not support CD/DVD drives or Apple SuperDrive.

Step 3: Connect an HDMI cable from the adapter to a 4K-compatible display. Up to 4K at 60Hz. Only supports direct HDMI connections.

Step 4: Insert microSD or SD cards into the card reader slots: microSD with pins facing down, SD with pins facing up. Both cards can be read simultaneously. Supports UHS-I read/write speeds (up to 104 MB/s).

Step 5: Connect one USB 3.0 Type-A device for high speed data transfer up to 10 Gbps. Does not support charging or CD readers including the Apple SuperDrive.

Step 6: Connect one USB 2.0 Type-A device (up to 480 Mbps), recommended for low-power peripherals or wireless receivers. Does not support charging or CD readers including the Apple SuperDrive.
