This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi 4-in-1 USB-C Slim Multiport Adapter 4K (ST-P4SM ST-P4SS ST-P4SK).

How to set up the Satechi 4-in-1 USB-C Slim Multiport Adapter 4K

1. Connect to a USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) host device: plug the adapter's USB-C Connector into the USB-C port on your compatible host device. The light-emitting diode (LED) indicator should turn on once connected.

   

2. Connect a USB-C charging cable to the adapter's USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port (100W input, 80W output max).

   

3. Connect a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cable from the adapter to a 4K-compatible display, up to 4K at 60Hz.

   

4. Connect up to two USB-A (Universal Serial Bus Type-A) peripherals for data transfer, up to 10 Gbps.

• USB-C PD Port (100W Input, 80W Output Max)
• 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 Ports (10Gbps)
• HDMI Video Port (4K@60Hz): only supports direct HDMI connections.
• USB-C Connector: connects the adapter to the USB-C host device.

Important notes for the 4-in-1 USB-C Slim Multiport Adapter 4K

• Connected Universal Serial Bus (USB) devices should not exceed an input current of 900mA.
• Do not connect more than one external hard drive at a time.
• USB-C charging port will not support data transfer or video output.
• The USB-A ports do not support charging.
• Not compatible with Apple USB SuperDrive or other compact disc (CD) readers due to excessive power requirements. The USB-C PD port also does not support Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) drives.
