This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi 4-Port USB-C Hub with Power Delivery (ST-H4CPDM).

How to set up the Satechi 4-Port USB-C Hub with Power Delivery

1. Connect to a laptop or tablet: plug the hub's USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) Connector into the USB-C port on your laptop or tablet. The light-emitting diode (LED) Indicator will turn on once connected.

   

2. Connect up to 3 USB-C devices to the USB-C Data Ports for fast data transfers or backups, up to 10Gbps each.

   

3. Connect power to the USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port for charging. The PD port supports up to 100W input, 75W output and data speeds up to 10Gbps.

   

4. Eject any connected devices prior to disconnecting the hub from the host device.

Important notes for the 4-Port USB-C Hub with Power Delivery

• USB-C Data Ports will not support video output, but support max 5V/1.5A charging.
• The USB-C PD port does not support video output.
• The USB-C Data Ports and the USB-C PD port do not support Compact Disc (CD) or Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) drives or the Apple SuperDrive.
• Connected single peripheral should not exceed power requirements above 5V/2A.
• When connecting audio devices, adjust sound settings under System Preferences > Sound > Input/Output.
