Setup Steps
1. Place the stand on a flat surface and set the Mac Mini on top with the USB ports facing outward.
2. Connect the stand's built-in USB-C cable to one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports on the back of the Mac Mini. The LED confirms a proper connection.
3. Use the USB-C port on the stand for data transfer (up to 5Gbps). This port does not support video or charging.
4. Use the three USB 3.0 ports for data transfer (up to 5Gbps each).
5. Insert micro/SD cards into the card reader slots (up to 104Mbps; both cards can be read simultaneously).
6. Connect a 3.5mm audio device to the audio jack on the stand. Compatible with Mac Mini 2018 and later.

Getting Started with Your Type-C Aluminum Stand & Hub for Mac Mini
1. Remove the Type-C Aluminum Stand & Hub for Mac Mini from its packaging along with any included accessories.
2. Connect the USB-C connector to an available USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your computer. Ensure the port supports data transfer.
3. Your computer should automatically recognize the hub. No drivers or software installation required.
4. Connect your peripherals (USB drives, keyboards, mice, displays, SD cards) to the available ports on the hub.
5. If the hub has a USB-C Power Delivery passthrough port, connect your laptop charger to it to charge while using the hub.
6. Verify connected devices appear in System Information (Mac) or Device Manager (Windows).
Tips
For the best experience, use a high quality USB-C cable if one is not built in. Not all USB-C ports support video output; check your computer specifications if you plan to connect an external display.
