This Quick Start Guide covers setup of the Satechi Mobile Pro Hub SD (ST-MPHSDM): a mobile USB-C hub with HDMI, USB-C PD charging, a USB 3.0 port, a microSD/SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Setup steps

Step 1: Plug the hub into the USB-C port on your iPad or USB-C host device (requires USB3.1 Gen 2 or higher). Use the included USB-C extension

cable for a more stable connection or if using your tablet with a case.

Step 2: Connect a USB-C Charging cable to the USB-C PD port on the hub to charge your host device (60W Max). Recommended to connect a 30W

Power Supply or higher to maintain charging speeds.

Step 3: Connect an external display to the hubs HDMI port.

Requires a direct HDMI to HDMI connection. Max resolution and refresh rate: 4K at 60Hz.

Step 4: Insert microSD or SD Cards into card reader slots.

Only microSD will click into place. Slots support UHS-I speeds. When using with iPadOS, cards will be discovered within the ‘Files’ app.

Step 5: Connect USB peripherals to the USB 3.0 data port.

Please update to iPadOS 13 or higher to utilize data transfer to/from external storage devices.

Step 6: Use 3.5mm headphone jack port to connect wired headphones or headset.

Note: OPERATING TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 86 - 122°F
