This Quick Start Guide covers setup of the Satechi USB-C Clamp Hub for 24" iMac M1 (ST-UCICHS ST-UCICHB): clamps onto a 24-inch iMac and adds USB-C data, USB-A ports, and a micro/SD card reader.

Setup steps

Step 1: To open the hub’s clamp, turn the adjustable knob counterclockwise.

Step 2: Attach the hub to the bottom right side of your iMac (same side as ports) and turn the knob clockwise to tighten.

Step 3: Plug the USB-C cable into one of your iMac’s USB-C ports.

Step 4: Connect an USB-C drive or peripheral to its USB-C data port.

Does not support charging or video

Step 5: Connect USB-A thumb drives or peripherals to its three USB-A 3.0 data ports.

Does not support charging or CD readers, including Apple SuperDrive

Step 6: Insert micro or SD cards into card reader slots.
