Product Overview

Clamps onto the bottom right edge of a 24-inch iMac and brings the ports you reach for most to the front of your desk: a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, three 5 Gbps USB-A data ports, and SD plus Micro SD card readers. Everything runs from one short USB-C cable into one of the iMac's own USB-C ports, and the aluminum body is finished to sit against the iMac without looking bolted on.

Setup

The USB-C Clamp Hub for 24" iMac M1 is plug-and-play, no drivers or software required.

1. Turn the knob counter clockwise to adjust the clamp: This opens the clamp wide enough to slide over the edge of the iMac.
2. Turn the knob clockwise to fasten the hub to your iMac: Fit the clamp onto the bottom right side of the iMac, the same side as the iMac's own ports, then tighten the knob until the hub sits firmly in place.

3. Connect your iMac and devices: Plug the hub's USB-C cable into one of your iMac's USB-C ports, then connect your drives, peripherals and memory cards to the hub.

Note: The clamp is sized for the 24-inch iMac and mounts on the bottom right side, the same side as the iMac's own ports. The LED indicator lights up once the hub is connected.

Ports and Features

1. USB-C Connector: The attached USB-C cable that plugs into one of your iMac's USB-C ports. This single connection powers the hub and carries all of its data.
2. Adjustable Clamp: The clamp that grips the bottom right edge of the iMac. Turn the knob counter clockwise to open it and clockwise to tighten it.
3. SD & Micro SD Card Reader (UHS-I): Card readers for SD and Micro SD cards at UHS-I speeds. The two slots will not read at the same time, so use one card at a time.
4. 3X USB-A Data Ports (5Gbps): Three USB-A data ports for thumb drives, external drives and peripherals, up to 5 Gbps. They do not support charging, and they do not work with CD readers including the Apple SuperDrive.
5. LED Indicator: Lights up to confirm the hub is connected and powered.
6. USB-C Data Port (5Gbps): USB-C data port for drives and peripherals, up to 5 Gbps. It does not support charging or video output.

Important Limitations

USB-C Data Port will not support charging or video output. It is a data-only port. Charge your devices and drive an external display from the iMac's own ports instead.

SD card and micro SD card won't read simultaneously. Only one of the two card slots works at a time. Insert one card, finish with it, then swap.

The USB-A ports will not support charging or CD readers, including the Apple SuperDrive. They are data-only ports.

The clamp fits the 24-inch iMac only. It is sized for the 2021 24-inch iMac and will not fit other iMac models.
