Is there a function to answer calls with the Bluetooth Media Button during motorcycle riding?
We’ve tested the play button and found it doesn’t work for answering phone calls on iPhone devices. So, iPhone users can’t use the play button for incoming calls.
However, on Android devices, pressing the play button answers calls.

Alternatively, you can answer iPhone calls without physically touching the screen by enabling the “Auto-Answer Calls” feature in the Accessibility settings. This feature allows the iPhone to automatically answer incoming calls after a specified duration. Additionally, you can use Siri to answer calls hands-free by simply saying, “Hey Siri, answer the phone.”
Here's how to set up Auto-Answer:
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing.
- Tap on Auto-Answer Calls and toggle it on.
- Set the desired duration: before the call is automatically answered.
To use Siri:
- Go to Settings > Siri & Search.
- Ensure "Listen for 'Hey Siri'" is enabled.
- Go to "Announce Calls" and choose when to announce calls: (e.g., Always, Headphones & CarPlay, or Headphones Only).
When a call comes in, Siri will announce the caller’s name, and you can respond by saying “Answer” or “Decline.” Additionally, you can use voice commands like “Hey Siri, answer the phone on speaker” to answer calls hands-free.
