This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi Bluetooth Media Button (ST-BMB).

How to set up the Satechi Bluetooth Media Button

1. Make sure Bluetooth is "On" on your smartphone.

   

2. Press and hold the "Pairing" button until the light-emitting diode (LED) is blue and blinking.

   

   

3. Check for "POP Multimedia" on the list of detected devices.

   

4. Select "POP Multimedia" and wait for the pop up menu.
5. Tap the "Pair" button on the pop up menu.

   

How to control media with the Bluetooth Media Button

• Open native audio or video apps.
• Press the Satechi Bluetooth Media Button to play/pause.
• Adjust volume and skip tracks.

How to delete and re-pair the Bluetooth Media Button

1. Press the "pairing" button on your Satechi Bluetooth Media Button using a thin long tool till the blue LED light turns on.
2. Press and hold the "pairing" button longer than 3 seconds till the blue LED light blinks. Previously paired data will be deleted and it is now ready to be paired to a new device.
3. To re-pair the Bluetooth Media Button on your smartphone after un-pairing it, go back to the Bluetooth settings menu and click "forget device" for "POP Multimedia" first.

Important notes for the Bluetooth Media Button

• Compatible with iOS Apple devices supporting Bluetooth 3.0 and later, and Android devices operating system (OS) 4.4.4 or later.
• The CR2016 battery comes pre-installed.
• Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children.
