How to Return, Exchange, or Get a Refund for Your Satechi Product
Need to make a return? Want a refund? This article covers the complete return, refund, and warranty process for Satechi products. Whether you need to return a product, request a refund, or start a warranty replacement, follow the steps below.
Satechi Warranty Overview
All Satechi products purchased from satechi.com or authorized sellers are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
Refund Policy (Within 30 Days)
Satechi offers a full refund within 30 days of purchase for any reason. After the 30-day window, refunds are no longer available. Warranty claims after 30 days are limited to same-model replacements only.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Warranty Replacement (Within 2 Years)
If your product is defective within the 2-year warranty period, Satechi will provide a replacement. Please note that Satechi does not offer exchanges for different products. Only the same model (or an equivalent model with your consent) will be provided as a replacement.
What You Need to File a Claim
To process any return, refund, or warranty claim, please have the following ready before contacting support:
1. Your order number or receipt as proof of purchase.
2. A clear photo or short video showing the defect or issue. This is required before any refund or replacement can be processed.
3. A brief description of the problem you are experiencing.
How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim
Contact our support team through the chat widget on satechi.com or email support@satechi.com with your order number, description of the issue, and the required photos or video. If the product is deemed defective, we will arrange for a replacement or refund as applicable.
Return Shipping
For customers within the United States, Satechi will provide a pre-paid return shipping label for warranty claims on defective items. For customers outside the United States, you are responsible for return shipping costs. The product must be returned in its original packaging and in new or like-new condition, including all accessories.
Amazon Purchases
If you purchased your Satechi product through Amazon, you can either file a return directly through Amazon's return system, or contact Satechi support at support@satechi.com with your Amazon order ID and details of the issue.
What Is NOT Covered
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, consumable parts like batteries (unless the failure is due to a manufacturing defect), products purchased from unauthorized sellers, or items that are lost or stolen.
