This Quick Start Guide covers getting started with the Satechi OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K) (ST-B5Q2SK ST-B5Q2SW ST-B5Q2SR).

How to set up the Satechi OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K)

1. Before first use, fully charge the OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K). Connect the included USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) cable to the USB-C Port on the power bank, then connect the other end of the cable to a USB-C charging port. White light-emitting diode (LED) lights will flash while the power bank is charging. Four LED lights will illuminate when the power bank is fully charged.

   

2. Turn on the power bank by pressing the power button on the side once or by attaching your phone. The LED lights will turn on for 14 seconds and then turn off.

   

3. Attach the OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K) to your phone to start wireless charging. Maximum wireless output is 15W. The power bank supports wireless charging for one device at a time.

   

4. Use the USB-C Port to recharge the power bank or to charge USB-C tablets or smartphones. Maximum input/output is 20W.

   

5. To turn off the OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K), press the power button twice. The LED battery indicators will turn off.

   

6. Use the Adjustable Hinge to stand up your phone. The power bank can function as a stand in both portrait and landscape orientations.

   

OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K) ports and controls

• Qi2 Wireless Charger (15W Max)
• Power Button: on the side of the power bank; press to turn on; press twice to turn off.
• Adjustable Hinge (up to 120°)
• USB-C Port (Input/Output 20W Max.)
• LED Indicator: on the back of the power bank; shows the battery level and charging status.

OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K) LED indicator meanings

• Press the power button to turn on. The LED Indicator Lights will indicate the battery level of the power bank: 0-25%, 25-50%, 50-75% or 75-100%.
• The battery level lights turn on at power on and remain on while the power bank is charging. Press the power button once to check the current battery level at any time.
• Blinking white: the power bank is being charged.
• Four lights on: the power bank is fully charged.
• Solid blue: a device has been detected and is being charged.
• Blinking blue: an unexpected object is detected on the Qi2 Magnetic Power Bank.

Charging and power rules for the OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K)

• The power bank supports pass-through charging that allows you to charge your device and recharge your power bank at the same time.
• When charging two devices at the same time (wireless and USB-C), the output is Qi2 Charger (5W) + USB-C Output (5W).
• Minimum 20W input power recommended for optimal charging.
• The power bank will automatically turn off after 30 seconds when no device is detected.

Important notes for the OntheGo™ Power Bank (5K)

• Only Qi2 and MagSafe compliant devices will reach 15W via the Qi2 Magnetic Power Bank.
• Compatible with MagSafe, Qi2, or Qi-enabled devices utilizing a magnetic case or magnetic sticker.
• Keep away from water or other liquids.
• Caution: Risk of fire and burns. Do not open, crush, heat above 35°C or incinerate.
• Switch off the power bank when not in use.
